EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • EXPERIENCED IN:  ​.NET C#, ​SQL, Angular
  • KNOWLEDGE OF: Visual Studio, Microservice Architecture, Xamarin, Trello, Rabbit MQ, NoSQL
  • INTERESTED IN:  .NET Core, AZURE, Serverless Architectures, Devops Pipelines, Big Data​
  • HBO/University-level degree in Computer Science and/or minimum of five years experience as a developer in a fast paced agile environment.
  • You know how to automate your deployment and quality assurance.
  • Scrum/Agile way of working is second nature.
  • Experience in large codebases and custom frameworks is a plus.
  • Trouble shooting, lateral thinking, communicating concepts.
  • Working symbiotically with Local and Off-Site Development Teams.

HOW WILL YOUR DAY LOOK

You will work with one or two cross functional project teams formed by Back-end and Front-end Developers, UX designers and a Scrum Master.

You will work closely with the team to mock up and iterate solution designs into robust technical solutions, keeping a birds eye view on the state of our server/client codebase and initiating projects to keep it up to date and in tip-top shape.

​You will help team members in aligning architectural, technical and UX design needs.

HOW WILL YOU BE DOING THIS

Actively engaging and continuously providing feedback to team members, you will help them become “a little bit more architecture conscious every day”.

Taking part in team meetings to provide your knowledge and insights where needed.

Prototyping UX components, iterating code, testing on the fly, evangelizing best practices and sustaining a culture of pragmatism as well as craftsmanship.

​Keeping up to date with the latest in back-end development, improving our tools and processes where needed.

WHAT WE WORKED ON LAST QUARTER

OMuseum Donation Station. Creation and placement of a multimedia – multi sensor interactive video wall in the main lobby of a major museum in London. The installation recognizes and interacts with approaching visitors to secure a donation for the museum visit via contactless payment terminal.

Fast Parking Gate for Bikers.  Creation of multiple prototypes to allow bikers to drop off and pick up their bikes at high speed near and around public transport hubs in the Netherlands.  The latest iteration involving over 25 sensors, touchscreens, lights and audio outputs is currently placed in Amsterdam RAI for a 6 month pilot.

High Security Authentication System. Replacement of of our OAUTH 1.0 login module with an OAUTH 2.0 upgrade so that our customer’s customers can now login even more securely.

​EcoSpace License for European Cross-border Public Transport.  Our high speed Identity based transaction platform has been licensed to non-profit organization to engender cross border travel with a customer’s preferred local transport card.
